Job Description: Responsible for ensuring that individuals or agencies that perform maintenance and/or maintenance related services for Colgan Air perform those duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable FARs, and accepted industry practices.

Duties & Responsibilities

§         Conduct periodic audits of contract agencies and vendors as designated and assigned by the QA Manager to assure conformity with company GMM policies and procedures, applicable FARs and accepted industry practices.

§         Assure outside agencies that repair, overhaul, or perform any maintenance on company aircraft, engines, appliances, or components are appropriately rated and qualified to perform such maintenance.

§         Assure the fuel quality and fueling facilities conform to established standards through accomplishment of scheduled audits.

§         Accomplish periodic audits, as designated by the QA Manager, on Colgan Air facilities and departments to ensure conformance with company standards and procedures, including periodic audits of Parts and Stores for shelf-life limit policy compliance.

§         Perform daily, monthly and bi-annual internal and external QA audits.

§         Provide all required forms and records, complete and in a timely manner, to the QA Manager for each audit conducted in order to properly document compliance or non-compliance with the safety program.

§         Maintain records of audits and findings to document compliance with the CASP program.

§         Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the QA Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:

§         High School Diploma or GED

§         Previous airline or military aviation maintenance experience required.
